So, what is Hackathon?
Hackathon is an event where small teams of idea generators, coders, designers & programmers work together to design, assembles and produces a software project within a very short timeframe. Hackathon’s main idea is being creative in a really fast way. Developers simply focus on the core of the application, excluding all extra, unnecessary details.
Why Should I join?
It’s an opportunity to work alongside other developers for some common goals. It’s a personal quest to take an idea and make it real, immediately. Hackathon is a chance to work on the ideas you have been thinking about for last couple of months, to change the “This might be cool!” feeling to something real and live on the site. The objective is to create something interesting by the end of the day in which you can get feedback on, from all attendees. A chance to work for X continuous hours to see what you came up with. A chance to meet awesome people. While the best thing is that you output a real thing where people can watch, use & interact with.
